Sealey SA9302 Tyre Inflator Clip-On Connector – You’ll need another gauge

First impression is that this is a good product for the price. I replaced the screw on connector with a quick connect to match my compressor and it works as intended. The tyre connector works with no leaks and the gauge is accurate enough to get close to the right pressure so i don’t have to keep removing it to check with my proper tyre gauge,i noted one review that marked it down as the rubber hose perished after a year,. Realistically it is a cheap connector/gauge and if it lasts a year i will be very happy with it.

. It leaks air a bit, but it’s biggest problem is that the gauge is wildly innacurate. I use another gauge to ensure the correct tyre pressure. I reckon it’s about 3 or 4 psi out, which if you’re running at 24psi (for example) is a big margin.

I have several cars in the family and i am very keen on car maintenance. So having a air system in my garage i want a tool that could be used by all the family and that would not be too difficult to handle. This fitted the bill and has been very successfully used by all the family.

  • Good for the Price.
  • Sealey Professional Tyre inflator
  • You’ll need another gauge

Pay more for quality, it pays.

It is easy to use and of good quality, very handy piece of kit, guage is easy to read. I have no problems recommending this tool.

Features of Sealey SA9302 Tyre Inflator Clip-On Connector

  • Composite body and dial type gauge with rubber protector
  • Range: 0-10bar/0-145psi
  • Fitted with 500mm rubber hose and single clip-on connector

Bought this to replace an old one (of a different make) with a broken air pressure guage. The sealey worked ok, but i preferred the old one which had separate inflate/deflate controls, so i have transferred the guage to my old unit.

It is fine for the price and the gauge seems accurate. The plastic body may or may not survive an accidental impact on a garage floor (but the metal bodied ones don’t either as the gauge usually breaks, which is what happened to my previous inflator).

I ordered this because i already had a compressor and needed the tools to go with it. My son set it up and it is working perfectly. Quite happy with this purchase.

The end makes a rubbish seal to tyre valves and leaks air from the main valve. The rubber hose makes it incredibly hard to maneuver into place.

    1. Blew my tyres up ok used a handful of times ,then put it in the garage when i went to use it the following year the hose was cracked and perished leaking air so was unusable.

Being a big brand i’d have thought the whole unit would be good quality. The main part is fine but the end on the tube is crimped and has broken. Maybe this part is meant to be replaced?.
