Ryobi RIDTWIN13 Combi Drill and Impact Driver, Great value, decent performance, bad battery’s

My husband loves this never goes a day without using the driver and fast delivery.

Bought this for my son in law he happy with it daughter is happy jobs around the house getting done recomend.

Purchased this kit for a large diy project of reflooring a bedroom and creating stud walling, etc. Batteries last well but the quick charger stopped working after a few charges so purchased the other charger they make which has kept working.

“This is a great value kit., Sturdy, reliable, love the One+ idea. Well done Ryobi. I’m a fan., Purchased this kit for a large DIY project of reflooring “

I’m really enjoying using these. The driver is great for putting in self cutting masonry screws. Had planned to sell on after doing a few jobs, but i’m keeping it now.

The ryobi twin pack is a good buy, very good quality and value. The only issues i have are the drill is a bit slow compared to a de walt or a milwaukee, they’re only really for diy use any industrial usage will burn them out very quickly and the battery’s aren’t the best either, would at least expect 3. In summary, good value, but for performance get a de walt or a mikita.

Was recommended by a friend about these drills, they are good and sturdy, do a good job.

Very good all works well nice to have the same battery for both.

Excellent drill would definitely recomend.

Not used them yet but seems ok.

Very good price for this bundle. I bought it mainly for the impact driver which has a deserved very good reputation. When you work out the cost of the charger and the batteries, you could say you are getting the drill for free – with change. The drill is decent, mine is now a spare (already had one), does everything you would expect from an 18v drill. 3ah lithium, so none of the ni-cd memory drain. The charger is fine, does the supplied batteries from flat in about 50 minutes. The impact driver is the real star though, chalk and cheese compared to driving with the drill. It makes even tough hardwood drives a doddle, and you don’t have to ‘fight it’ like you sometimes do with the drill. Worth buying decent, impact rated bits and screws, cheapos will almost certainly get mashed. The only things i don’t like about the new (green) ryobi one+ kit is firstly the chargers feel very plastic-y, and the supplied, square case is very flimsy compared to the canvas bags you used to get with the old (blue) tools. That’s not a criticism of this set – it across the board with the new range. All in all a very good value set, and a good way to kick off or expand your one+ collection.

Great drills, really powerful. The battery life is really good and can be used with other tools.

Great quality twins from ryobi. I have been making do with my very old, cumbersome macallister () combi drill and this is definitely a worthwhile improvement. After much deliberation (afterall my old drill still worked, battery life was still good albeit on the whole a bit battered with the optional steadying handle having sheared off) i chose this ryobi set over the more expensive dewalt because the general reviews of ryobi in comparison were so good. Never owned dewalt and i’m a diy’er, not professional but i’m really pleased i plumped for this set. Compared to my old combi the batteries are far easier to release from the drill body, the trigger is easier requiring one finger to activate it rather than two leaving three fingers for a firmer grip on the drill, it’s smaller, therefore easier to handle and move around, charging is quicker. Gets into corners more easily. . Solid well built and well balanced piece of kit. At the price i paid i think i got value for money. Great carrying case wwith it and fits lots more bits n bobs you need when drilling.

Had both these tools for over a year now and they perform brilliantly. These tools were my introduction to the ryobi 1+ line and convinced me of the usefulness of the system for other tools. The battery life is excellent and they have taken a lot of tough treatment. Also, this kit coming with two batteries is fantastic if you buy other ryobi tools.
