Works well with a very good service.
Does everything required and as stated. Quite heavy, and you have to take care when operating to keep the saw steady until blade stopped – had a couple of scares by lifting it while saw running – it jumps, so be aware.
Great one fault its to fat to grip.

“Flawed design lets this down
, Essential multi purpose saw.
, Good saw, not easy to use one-handed though.
Wished i bought one years ago. Can’t fault it and the accessories that come with it are well worthwhile. If i have a criticism it’s the operating switch system. I don’t have small hands and just about reach the safety release and on switch but soon picked up the knack. A good saw that finds a place in my workshop between larger circular saw and a jig saw.
Ok, i need this for wall chasing as it can plunge, comes with a dust extraction nozzle and it’s quite small. For this purpose i can’t fault it, it’s easy to use and the dust extraction works very well keeping dust to a minimum. As a handy small plunge saw its less good for the following reasons and would struggle to get 3 stars, even though it’s cheap. It’s very very difficult to line it up on a piece for accurate cutting as there are no marks on the baseplate and it’s very difficult to actually see where the blade is cutting to. It’s too powerful for cutting thin materials making it difficult to keep cutting in a straight line, so it needs a rail or a power adjuster. The on off switch is just the dumbest piece of design, even for my very large hands. I’m sure if i spent my life laying laminate floor i’d be kinder to this. As it stands it’s more difficult to use than my 1400w dewalt plunge saw for accurate cutting. However, if all you want to do is cut clean channels in walls then it’s very good.
Would be a great tool but lazer light stopped working after 4 weeks use.
Excellent tool, and the mitre guide is great for use with a router as well as this saw. Operating the top button, to release the guard, while holding the bottom buttons in is not easy, even with my large hands. However, the solution only costs 1p.
Really good for flooring takes a bit to get use to it very good buy i like all the parts you get with it ,like the saw guide and blades.
Decent enough cutting depth and useful mitre function.
Have to be very careful as the kick back on start up could cause a finger or other organ nearbye to be severed. Needs an upgrade to a slow start initially.
The only downside is that its a but cumbersome and getting the unit to start cutting at an angle can be fiddly. It would be helpful to have had a better means of gripping the saw.
This saw does what it says and the ease of use. It came and assembled it very quick and started using it, fantastic.
Husband has found this tool very useful.
Delived as spec, works well, good value 4 monies spent.
Great product speedy delivery thanks.
Excellent performance for a very reasonable price.
This is a very good quality and best priced circular saw i found on amazon after searching it on the internet for days and watching number of videos on youtube. It is very heavy duty and well built tool with the guarantee no one else gives.
Found this ok nice bit of kit.
The double action switch takes a bit of getting use to but the quality of the cut is really good and the cross cut / mitre cut guide makes cutting timber perfectly square. It is also a and quicker to set up compared to the full size plunge saws and of course doesn’t have the depth of cut but for mini plunge saw the depth of cut is very useful. I only wish it had a plastic case or dedicated bag however an extra tool bag to keep it start around £7. 00 elsewhere so not so much of an issue. I use two different self clamping guide rails and the saw is easily and accurately guided along it to accurately cut whole mdf or ply sheets. Well worth the money and appears to be well made so should, finger’s crossed be reliable.
A good saw for the price, as noted by others the ‘on’ switch is stupidly designed, making one-handed operation really hard. If it hadn’t been for the included guide rail i possibly would have given three stars, but i find that that’s really good and easy to use for cutting for example laminate flooring. Cuts are really clean with the finer-toothed blade but it didn’t survive four rooms of laminate laying and now i need a new blade (of course, i should have used the coarsest blade) the only other fault is that there is a strong ‘kick’ when you switch it on, which is a bit annoying since using it one-handed is hard enough.
Used now for lots of jobs and found that this is a fantastic piece of kit. I heard lots of people say that it was hard to use?. They need to pay someone to do the work as this is easy to use and does an what it says on the tin.
Bought for me through amazon by my wife. Excellent saw for both straightforward sawing and plunge cutting. Difficult to hold unless you’ve got really big hands. I use ‘medium’ sized gloves and i could only just use it. If you have hands that require ‘small’ sized gloves then i doubt that you could safely hold and use the quirky ‘safety’ on/off switch and button on the top that frees the saw plate. You’d be better advised to get one the similar saws that have a narrowed middle, like the ‘wolf’ (sold by the same company). The quirky safety switch can be very difficult to operate with one hand. This company is superb when honouring their 3 year guarantee. Mine failed after 26 months. The company asked for a fiver for collecting it from my door, so no traipsing to a post office. When they examined it and found that it really had failed, and not just damaged by me, they immediately refunded the carriage charge, and a couple of days later delivered me a replacement saw. It was the smoothest and quickest guarantee experience that i’ve ever had.
. But the double action trigger is very difficult for me to use. When cutting using the excellent guide rails – first you use the top button to lower the saw using the very good laser to align the cut now. You have to hold the fat body, release the safety catch by pushing forward the small lever and at the same time pull up the trigger if you have a big hunky, muscular hand – no problem but for the rest of us this is not easy. However that is the one and only negative to this really excellent saw. The frame allows for a perfectly aligned cross cut with a variable angle – great for 45 degree mitres and exact 90 degree cuts. Ripping lengths is easy also using either the guide supplied or clamping a guide. The 600w motor has no trouble cutting 20mm hard wood parquet reclaimed from fleet street. The 3 blades make it very versatile – wood, plastic, tiles brick and metal. This really is a 5* tool at a great price.
Excellent mini drop saw, have used it a number of time already, shame it did not come with a carry case.
