Having read reviews on other attachments which had stripped their gears at the first use,i opted for this as it looked to be more robustly engineered,it was a bit more expensive but i hoped it would be worth the extra outlay. I was not disappointed, the attachment held a 18mm wood drill and i used it to drill 12 holes through 2′ joists with ease. Very pleased with the product and the price.
Bought this to drill floor joists during a bathroom refurbishment and it performed admirably. It handled a 22mm wood drill with ease (6 holes) and even managed the 4 x 48mm holes for a basin drain though i had to let it cool down between holes. I stripped it after the job and the crown gears still looked in fine fettle. Thoroughly recommend this item. Note:- this only has a 3/8′ chuck so you’ll need to make an adapter to size up for the 48mm auger.

Have only used it to drill 12 off 1′ holes in floor joists the drill was a bit noisy so i took it apart. It had a pair of very sturdy looking metal gears but only plain bushed bearings. After repacking it with light grease it ran a lot better. The chuck requires a chuck key which is very prone to getting lost as there is nowhere to clip it onto the main body. Good value for money if you only occasionally want to do a few holes. Main body is made of plastic.
Made of high quality components that will stand up to many years of use. A very useful tool to add to any toolbox.
Bought this to get into the gap between the roof rafters, then drilled through both old and new rafters that were clamped together. Very happy with the results ie; drill bit/bolts went into the rafters straight, rather than at an angle using the standard drill.
Milescraft 1390 Drill90 Right Angle Drilling and Driving Power Drill Attachment : I had wasted good money on two cheaper products that only lasted minutes. This item is sturdy and sorted my problems in seconds. It is sturdy, well built and looks the part. I would have liked a keyless chuck but this is only a minor problem. Just remember to use the tool slowly and let the cutters do their work. Keep the holes clean and dont use force on the attachments. I drilled through 4x 6 inch joists with no problem and it did not overheat or feel stressed. The only stress felt was by me.Dont waste money on cheaper items.
Excellent build quality and easy to use in a tight space. The hexagonal drill spindle removes any chance of slippage. There are cheaper versions of this type of tool, but they do not match the quality of this item.
Very good quality and up for whatever the job , worth the money.
