Amazing value, wide grinding wheel is good for wide chisels. There’s a bit of wobble on the grinding wheels but it works fine.
Set up easy and i have it mounted on board with 4 screws and no bother including its original feet. Tried it out converting a pointed kitchen knife to a santuko which i prefer.
By and large, this is a good grinder, representing good value for money. I bought it of the 50cm 120 grit grinding wheel, useful for sharpening a range of chisels and am not dissatisfied. At half the cost of similar and better respected brands, it is not perfect: the grinding guides are limited i their movement, somewhere between right angles and 10 – 15 degrees, which is not ideal, although they are steady enough to hold a chisel blade, without acyually providing an exact guide. I have had no problems sharpening tools, but i would prefer being able to set a precise angle. The solution is to take an angle grinder and remove some of the metal away from the bracket that holds the tool rests, allowing proper movement. This is a hassle, but you are saving money on what is, otherwise, a good grinder. One more thing: there is no braking on the wheels, so when you turn the machine off, the grinding wheels carry on for some time before stopping. This is not unusual for cheaper grinding machines, but one should take note of it as it does represent a health and safety risk to the unwary. All-in-all, a well priced and value for money grinder, but by no means perfect.
Works as expected just dont press too hard or it slows down. Its quiet if you use it right it works perfect.
- not perfect, but value for money
- Cheap grinder but NOT nasty.
- a few months of intermittent use it is working fine. If anything

Great service with fast delivery. The sort of service you always want and desire. Well packed and pleasant smile on delivery mans face. Opening the box is probably the best part of getting something delivered, the anticipation of how it’s going to look and work. You won’t be disappointed either. This is not an expensive model, and this should be remembered. Saying that, the wide hss grinding wheel is very good quality. The metal cover had to be bent slightly so the adjustable tool rest was parallel with the wheel when bolted on, minor niggle easy fix. Fixing to a board i removed the rubber feet so the grinder is held hard and fast without vibration, this is when the base cover plate falls freely to the floor.
A good upgrade from my old grinder, well pleased.
Good quality grinder, must be clamped on solid bench.
After a few months of intermittent use it is working fine. If anything, the motor is a bit quieter. I have used both wheels without any major problem. The tool rests are sufficiently sturdy for my needs, but i want to make some different rests and a different wheel, green, for resharpening masonry bits.
A good sturdy little grinder, highly recommended.
Haven’t use much since purchase, but so far so good.
