Great value and does the job. Don’t run it too long, give it 10 minutes every hour or so to cool down or it will overheat and stop but this is not an industrial mixer, its designed for the man, or woman, who does diy.
Easy to put together looks a good sturdy mixer for the money.
This mixer is brilliant and is of a good quality, very impressed and would recommend for smaller batches, there is a 140 litre drum version for those who wish to do larger mixes.
Super quick delivery and easy to assemble, although instructions were poor, good enough for any diy project. Only used it for a couple of days but it performed well (mixed about 1. 5 cubic metres of concrete).
- It’s doing its job – now.
- good value good quality, just the right size for the diy or small build
- nice little mixer

Tub is a little small but certainly sufficient for the diy person and is great value for money. Gladly recommend this product to anyone in the diy sector.
It certainly looks well made, shame about vital actions on assembly being missing from manual. Have used it for light concrete mix, 20kilo bags, it does the trick but stutters when the mix is a little dry. Because of other reviewers comments about overheating i have run it for maybe only 5-6 minutes at a time just enough to mix the quantity stated. Loading with a standard shovel is awkward but all in all ok. Time will tell if it will last the coarse.
This came in three boxes with a replacement supporting frame arriving first as they said the one being supplied with the rest of the mixer was the wrong size. Basically this is a big boys meccano kit. The instructions were for a different model and there lots of screws and washers left over. A wheel barrow does not fit underneath because the bar in in the way and gets covered in mortar when you try to tip the mix out. There are some slots to hold the handle in place when the drum is in the sideways position but when you tilt it the slots don’t match up so you have to hold it manually. I’ve use it twice but i’ve found that with all the cleaning it’s quicker for me to mix by hand on a muck board.
Good customer back up, fair quality for price. Worked it hard for a couple of days.
Probably my best buy in life. All the back breaking work gone and the mess not there. It’s like cilitbang for concrete. What’s more i can sell for a good price when i’ve finished. By the way treat the assembly an interesting diversion in the process, it ain’t that hard and a dab of threadlok will keep it solid.
Excellent value, the quality of the paint is far better than any other mixer i have used, i have done a large number of mixes including concrete and the paint is still on the inside of the barrel.
Great little machine for the diy and small building work.
I am using this to prepare mortar and render and it does the job perfectly – the resultant mix is much better than that achieved manually in a barrow and it’s certainly a lot less back breaking. The written assembly instructions are not great however the pictures are pretty clear and it’s relatively straightforward to assemble. The relatively small drum size makes it perfect for one person. My only niggle is that the mechanism for locking the drum into the mixing position is not very secure resulting in the drum flipping into the upright position.
excellent small cement mixer (80ltr) therefore easy to store and also easy to clean. Solid and not to bad to assembly.
I haven’t used it in earnest yet but the build quality seems to be fine. Only issue i had was that it didn’t come with any instructions, but a quick email to the seller soon resolved this.
Dispatched and delivered before date. Brought for the my partner took him around 30-40mins to put together.
Came very quickly, delivery company contact very good. Item works fine, but have only just started to use it. Build instruction soso , make sure you check which way you load the main support bar?. Tip to supplier add extra hole for 60mm bolt to mount motor then it would not matter which way you load it?.All looks very good, should do fine for my small jobs. O you may have a few bolts left over but don`t think they do anythinghope this helps.
Really great price and works very well, if you are happy doing relatively small mixes, which we are. So far used for concrete pad for propane tank and hearths in the house.
Looks reasonable, missing some info in the instructions, joining 2 halves of drum tricky as was the fitting of the internal blades, have yet to use it.
I used it non stop to make a mortar mix – saved my back a lot. I will now try and mix a few concrete mixes. Construction was easy but the picture instructions weren’t the best – i got there in the end. Would recommend to anyone as well worth the money.
Really good mixer, if only i could get the cement out. Same as the one sold by a well known screw supplier, but £80 cheaper. (let me know what i’m doing wrong).
A total nightmare to start with, with the delivery courier company. Initially bought to be used to complete a small job, building a front garden wall. Had to hire a mixer for the job as the courier company (based in croydon) had no clue what they were doing and my mixer kit was eventually delivered over a week late. I could have sent it back, but was doubtful that the mixer would arrive back at the sellers place – i was not paying for it if it was lost in transit being returned. Dirty pro tools did message me, but weren’t much use as far as i could tell, in getting my item delivered any quicker. I would have expected them to kick some butt. The mixer:it arrived in 2 large, heavy, cardboard boxes, so try to have a sack truck to move the boxes with. Instructions are pretty good; fortunately i have a lot of experience with building model kits and stuff, so not much fazes me these days. I would advise trying a dry run before trying to bolt it together. And do actually check that all the parts and bolts are there and are the correct size before starting to build it.
It’s ok, instructions not the best or clearest to follow, we had to file the metal so that the catch fitted the slot, not a big deal, but still worthy of a star off imo.
