Very week torqueyou can stop.
Really useful – didn’t know how i managed before.
As you would expect from bosch. Here are the specifications for the Bosch Professional GWB 12V-10 Cordless Angle Drill:
- Particulates with chuck and effectively illuminates dark work spaces
- Simple bit replacements for a variety of applications
- Chuck articulates from 90°-180°. better balance and control of the tool for perfect working in tight areas
This unit is in reality much bigger than you might think reading the description. 8v it’s long and has quite a heft. That said, the tilting head gives a lot of flexibility and the drill is powerful. There is no hammer mode( and i didn’t expect one) and also, more surprisingly, no torque setting either. The motor is very well stepped, so i think the idea is that the control is there to not need torque settings. Speed and battery life are all good and the professional charger (you would already need one as this is body only) charges them quickly. All in all recommended – just be aware of how big it actually is.
Difficult to rotate head as you have to press the release and rotate at the same time. Not as controllable as the dedicated screwdriver version (gli). Still a versatile, flexible device that enables work in more previously inaccessible places.
Reviews from purchasers :
- All in all recommended – just be aware of how big it actually is.
- Invaluable tool when working in difficult places
- Powerful, focused tool
It does all what it says on the box.
Very sturdy, easy to use and allows good control. The only minor issue is that the battery clips are a bit stiff so retrieving the battery from the tool requires some effort. Nevertheless, a superb product in my opinion.
I now use this every day for my job, wish i had bought one years ago. I use for dismantling equipment & re-assembly. The slim design makes it versatile.
A great angle drill – good power (will easily drill 16mm holes through joists with a flat bit), nice to hold and fairly slim. I wasn’t sure how useful the multi-position head would be but it is good when putting screws into awkward places. Two batteries and an l-box – you can’t go wrong. Just remember to register the tool with bosch or you won’t get the 3-year warranty (2 years for the batteries).
